Remember back in June, when
it was 100 degrees in the shade during
the Fon du Lac ToAD road race?
Well, bundle up buttercup, because
it's now 'cross season and it's getting cold!
Although some people always seem to
bring a ray of sunshine with them. LOL

Grafton Pumpkin 'Cross
Great venue for a 'cross race. I think
it's already safe to say that this was
a crowd favorite. Who opened the window
during the 3's race? Temps dropped to 38F
and snowing? Brrrrr.
(Hope that was a PBR)

It was a cool, damp cyclocross morning,
but a dry, sunny afternoon for day one
of the 2009 Planet Bike Cup.

Ben Popper had a great start, led over the
barriers for the first time, BUT dropped his
chain in the process. He remounted, got caught and eventually placed 2nd to Scott McLaughlin (SRAM Factory Team).
... and there was plenty of action
in the other categories as well.
