2008 Cam-Rock : Cambridge – Rockdale Cyclocross Race October 4, 2008 *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* A fast course along the Koshkonong Creek / Rockdale Mill Pond provided a rip roaring day of cyclecross this Saturday. Dry dusty conditions prevailed. Enjoy it while you can! (See Lapham). Devon Haskell (Pony Shop) and Jesse LaLonde (Planet Bike) topped their respective podiums today.

2008 Badger Prairie - Verona, WI : Cool air - a warm sun - ahhhhh ... this is Cyclocross ! The tough course took it's toll but it was a fun day none the less. Brian Matter (Gear Grinder) and Kristin Wentworth (Planet Bike) each showed us -what's up- and made their victories look easy.

2008 Gibbs Lake - Janesville, WI : Tucked away in the middle of Rock County between Janesville and Madison, this large park offered ample fast single track (MTB and Equestrian) to test the riders skills. After twisting through the ribboned hairpins just after the start, riders were sent off on just over a mile of *FAST*, rolling trail. A half dozen small logs placed on the final uphill ("should I run or can I ride?") was followed by a fast, twisty downhill that resembled a Luge run! Brian Matter and Krisin Wentworth both pulled off the double win this weekend. A decent turn out, hot food, and a live band helped make this a fun event not to be missed.

2008 Kletch Park 'Cross : Hard racing on a hard course. A fair sized but enthusiastic crowd gathered for day one of a two-fer weekend of 'Cross on Milwaukee's east side. Cool temps and a wind off the lake at times didn't keep the racing action from getting hot !!

2008 Estabrook Park : Slightly smaller fields than yesterday, but certainly no lack of competition. Many a lung was left on 'the hill' which was ridden by more riders this year than last.

2008 Lan-Oak Park 'Cross Lansing, IL : Flat? Sure. Easy? No. Hard racing action and a trip to the beach every lap. Cold temperatures, a stiff wind, on and off snow squalls, and a hardy cheering crowd made this one fun!

2008 Wisconsin State Cyclocross Championships : STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS! A few notable riders were missing, but that didn't lower the level of competition one bit. Fans cheered loudly, riders rode hard, and a few fell hard. With temperatures in the 40's and little wind, it was just the kind of late Novemeber day you would ask for and very fortunate we were ... for on Monday morning - IT SNOWED !!

2009 Planet Bike Cup - Day 1 (new) : Day one of the Planet Bike Cup cyclocross race. TONS of pictures yet to follow. Jeremy Powers takes the Elite Men\'s race over Erwin Vervecken and Jonathon Page. For a good number of riders I shot a series of photos of them running the barriers. Because of the volume of pictures that created, it\'s the last time I\'m doing THAT!
