Andreas Muller (Gormetfein) takes the sprint from a break of 5 riders that gained some 30 seconds in the later stages of a fast and exciting race. With 13 laps remaining, Muller went for a $100 prime and took Sullivan, Freund, Feng, and Hoffarth with him to make up the winning move.

While earlier, multiple attempts were made to escape, including one of 20 riders,
none were successful. This one, however, despite heavy chasing by Gear Grinder and other teams,was not to be denied.

Zach Davies snuck away from the field (almost getting nipped on the line)
for 6th, and the Australian pair took the field sprint for 7th and 8th.

Shontell Gauthier nipping teammate Nicky Wangsgard (both Colavita / Sutter Home) for the honors.
Third was Taiwan's Mei-Yu Hsiao.
